Snap Disco

The SNAP disco is a regular event for 11 to 16 year olds, that is great fun for everyone attending whilst parents can be reassured that it is very safe, with security on each door, police in attendance and a team of Lions constantly on hand to take coats, sell refreshments and maintain order.

SNAP disco May 2001 SNAP stands for "Say No And Phone". It is organised by Hampshire County Youth Service in partnership with the Police and Fleet & Hart Lions to promote an anti-substance misuse campaign.

SNAP aims to promote 'Crimestoppers' (0800 555111) as a charity that deals with information provided by the public concerning drug abuse.

If you are offered drugs, Say No And Phone 0800 555111.

There is often a sub event such as a karaoke or quiz. Refreshments, crisps and so on are available for purchase with all profits going back into these events and other local youth projects.

SNAP dancers May 2001Parents are asked to drop off their daughters and sons and pick them up after the event.
See our events page for future dates.
Did you know...

The profits that are made at SNAP are being ploughed back in to various youth projects in the area. One that you can be proud to have supported, is the refurbishment of The Point kitchen.
Both the Lions Club of Fleet and Hart Lions have part funded this, but it would not be possible without your generous support. A big THANK YOU from everyone at The Point.

Our usual resident DJ's will be there.

Make sure you are there!
