Membership
The Lions are the biggest 'hands on' voluntary organisation in Fleet. Our prime objective is to help out in the local community. We are part of a worldwide organisation with 1½m members including 1000 clubs in the UK.
Fleet Lions has always been an all male club, but following a recent change to our constitution, if your wife would like to join, with you, she may apply in the normal way and we will consider her application.
Why should I join?
- You'll get an opportunity to make new friends!
Because we work locally and serve the local community, you'll meet lots of people in Fleet. - You will be able to involve the whole family!
Your children can come to SNAP discos, be in the Carnival parade or join in Funfest. Your wife can help you man the gates of our fireworks fiesta or dress up as a snowman for our Christmas float collection. All are welcome at many of our social events. - We can give you the chance to learn new skills!
We do practical things like refitting the Point Youth Centre, doing projects at the Pond, and organising small and large events for the young and not so young alike. - The choice of what and how much you do is down to you!
We organise and get involved in a wide variety of fundraising events and activities to help the needy.
