Sponsored Horse Ride 2008
On behalf of the Lions Club of Fleet I extend a very warm welcome to our friends and supporters to this our 23rd Tweseldown Sponsored Horse Ride. We are confident that you will enjoy the challenges that the course can offer. Lions will be on duty at all obstacles. If you do not want to negotiate the main jumps, there is always an easier option. Stick within your own abilities and enjoy yourself. There are more details about the event in this year's programme.
Over the years our Sponsored Horse Ride has raised substantial funds for Riding for the Disabled Association and we trust your support will continue for this worthy cause. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all riders and sponsors for their contribution to the success of this event.

Complete an official entry form and Sponsorship form now! Print a poster and display at your pony club or stables!
Requests to ride at a particular time or to ride with others are accommodated as far as is possible.
There are two classes of entry depending on the age of rider - Senior (16 years and over) and junior (under 16 years).
Don't forget that if you do not like the look of any obstacle, you may go round it without penalty.
A minimum amount of sponsorship of £20.00 is required for completion of a circuit of the course.
Every finisher is awarded a rosette. A special rosette is awarded to all riders who raise £40.00 or more in sponsorship.
A trophy, to be retained for one year, together with a prize is awarded to the rider in each class who raises the largest amount of sponsorship.
Fleet Lions, along with other organisations, has supported the Association over a number of years. In the past, the funds raised allowed the Association to take delivery of a new horse box able to accommodate up to four horses.
