Entry Procedure
1. Complete the form below.
2. Enclose a cheque payable to "Lions Club of Fleet" for the non-refundable entry fee of £5.00 together with a stamped addressed envelope for your confirmation receipt.
3. Print this page, sign and return it with the entry fee to the Secretary at the address below by 6th June 2008.
I hereby accept the conditions of entry. I do have third party liability insurance. I accept that my details may be held on a mailing list in accordance with the data protection act. Your details will not be passed to any third party.
If you do not have third party liability insurance you will not be permitted to ride.
Gift Aid
The Lions Club of Fleet is able to reclaim tax that you have already paid and add it to your entry fee (provided you are a UK tax payer who pays an amount of income or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax reclaim). Gift Aid is worth 28p for every £1 of your entry fee. It costs you nothing and all you need do is complete the above details and tick the Gift Aid box.

Conditions of entry
All applicants must have valid third party liability insurance.
Applications may only be made by completing the official entry form and sending it to the Secretary together with a non-refundable entry fee of £5.00.
Entry applications will be accepted into either the Senior or Junior Classes. (up to 16years old on 8th June 2008).
A minimum amount of sponsorship of £20.00 is required.
The Secretary should receive entries by 6th June 2008. Requests to ride at a particular time or ride with your friends will be accommodated as far as is possible.
Correctly fitting hard hats MUST be worn. We recommend that Body Protectors are also worn.
Any rider wishing to retire should report to the nearest steward.
The event is not timed but completion should take place within one and a half hours.
Entry to the clear round show jumping arena will cost £5 for two rounds payable on the day.
Other information
The course will be approximately 5 miles and have about twenty five obstacles.
There will be two standards of obstacles (approx 2'3" or 2'9" high - 0.69m or 0.84m). However riders are not required to negotiate any obstacle.
Each finisher will receive a rosette. A special rosette will be awarded to all riders who raise £40.00 or more in sponsorship.
A trophy, to be retained for one year, and a prize will be awarded to the rider in each class who raises the largest amount of sponsorship.
Procedures on the day of the ride
On arrival, riders should report to the main building where they should check-in and collect their numbers from the Secretary, and deposit their sponsorship form and sponsorship money with the Treasurer.
Numbers must be securely fastened on riders' backs.
Riders should proceed to the starting gate at their allotted time.
Stewards will man all obstacles. Riders should comply with any instruction given by a Steward.
On completion of the course all riders should report to the finishing Steward.
On completion of the ride the riders should report to the Treasurer and collect their certified sponsorship form and rosette.
Subject to the agreement of the Chief Steward, it may be possible for riders to make further circuits of the course on payment of a fixed fee of £10.00 per circuit.
Notice
A Veterinary Surgeon and St John's Ambulance (paramedic) will be on duty throughout the day.
There will be Stewards at each obstacle.
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are by law responsible, the organisers do not accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, or illness to horses, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or any other way whatsoever.
